Wineaux
Thanks. I could use a hug.

Ali
No, that's your song. Hurt is for me what Something is for you, so you should be the one to post Something, not me.
I don't care if it hurts, I want to have control,
I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul,
I want you to notice when I'm not around,
You're so ____in' special,
I wish I was special.

I agree with Chainedlynx about Bright Eyes. I find that the majority of their songs perfectly describe the way that I feel. Lua describes the loneliness that I feel and DP/DR. The song Take It Easy (Love Nothing) describes my troubled relationships and sexual promiscuity. Hit the Switch reminds me of my struggles with substance abuse and how I try to justify it. Their album, Digital Ash in a Digital Urn, is one of my favorites. I find it very easy to relate to.

Take It Easy (Love Nothing) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3FqHWZ4IIc
Hit the Switch - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3FqHWZ4IIc

I also find that I can relate to many Modest Mouse songs.

Another Evanescence song: Anything For You.

"I'll believe
All your lies
Just pretend you love me
Make believe
Close your eyes
I'll be anything for you"

It reminds me of that desperate need to be loved by the ones I love, so desperate that I'd rather they pretend to love me than tell me the truth and walk away. And of course trying to change yourself for that person you love, changing into whoever it is they want.

And also Evanescence's Forgive Me.

I'm a hip-hop head, Swollen Members' "Too Hot" is my BPD song...

Lyrics:
Though I plan to go out with a bang not a whimper
I still gotta watch my temper.
Watch over both shoulders cuz of what I'm into,
Sometimes I get emotional cuz of what I've been thru.
It goes - anger, anger - that's one of my hang ups...

Cowards die many times before their deaths.
The valiant taste of death but once.

Shakespeare, "Julius Caesar"
