I know the feeling. People can be so tedious

I understand the feeling too Jaus. And feeling as though you're always the one to instigate things with friends is very draining. Hope you manage to get through the work party ok.

I hear ya, JT; this time of the year is the worst. I know I should be (especially with my birthday being in winter as well), but I am so not a Christmas person. And when you feel alone, it's hard to get cheery at this time of year.

If you want, just don't go to the party tomorrow. I've been at the same company for almost ten years now, and I have yet to attend a single Christmas party. When people ask why I don't go, it's usually "it's not my thing." Then again, I've never been one for big gatherings of any type (AvPD).

Nothing says you have to go!

Get through the party, focus on the food, come back here and tell us how was the grub!

How about that?

how about i go to the party, accidentaly pour some drink on some boss and pass the glass to a colleague, start a food fight, record the colleagues throwing donuts, cakes, pizzas and drinks at each other, upload it on youtube,

create a youtube channel and post similar videos, then sell subscriptions and earn money...then sit back on my chair, legs on the table and eat pop corn as the laptop plays a shakira song 8)

i went to the party. the food was nice, and the ride back home was also nice.

though i was in depression for sometime, i've realized that the depression will be there and its ok. if i am in depression for 5 minutes, i can also enjoy the remaining 55 minutes of the hour.

and enjoyment doesnt mean dancing and socializing. eating fish and chicken is also included under the column of fun acts.
