Play nice.

You're going to take attention away from my bitchiness.

And you're wrong. People who like pop junk tend to be so normal. Most dumb people are non's. I like to think the smart ones are often the f*cked up ones.

And I like her early stuff. "Video Games" and "Born to Die". When she was appealing to the indie kids not the mainstream. But "Video Games" I don't enjoy when single. And "Born to Die"...well...I still like that one because I remember wanting to bang her after watching the music video. For some reason just in that music video I'm incredibly attracted to her.

Lol goffik hipster.

Let me guess, your favorite artist is Crystal Castles?

Or Emilie Autumn?

Oh wait, no, she sold out too...

(Note, I say this tongue-in-cheek, as I'm typing this as I listen to EA's "Thank God I'm Pretty", mostly because one girl in the second psych ward I was in would sing it a lot with her guitar in the crafts room. I'm kinda having a moment right now where I'm contemplating going back to the hospital so yeahhhhhh... It's appropriate lol.)

Stuck up hipsters

Let people listen what ever they want to, if it makes you feel good, fine. Imo music is one of the greatest pleasures there is.

(I don't know anny songs from Lana Del Ray. Radio and Tv silence here.)

lol we shouldn't discuss music tastes. it was more about bpd lyrics than the music itself.

i think "normal" people are less intrinsic and that's why they don't seek out for new artists, they just take what's in plain sight. or earshot.

No, Lana is avoidant. We avoidants have some borderline traits, so we can be ofen taken for a person with BPD. I know, I am avoidant. I can see that she has AvPD even just by looking at her. We avoidants have this weirdness in our looks that is just so telling.

Shh, be nice. None of our business how many diagnoses a person has.

re Lana, i think some of her lyrics can remind of BPD moods. There is intensity, emptiness, delusion, dissociation, but also self awareness in her character's lyrics. But, overall her music doesn't remind me of BPD much.

Ummmmm. Yeah. I was a radio DJ in college and worked at a student-run coffee shop, which pretty much translates into hipster. But that was 2-3 years ago, like when the song came out. I used to have a hipster fetish with those damn skinny men in skinny jeans, but alas I have outgrown the phase. Still love music festivals. But....drugs. And so much music. But don't hate!

Don't know Emilie Autumn. Yeah, I really like Crystal Castles. Saw them in concert. Like I said...drugs, man.

Shes just one of many. A lot of musicians have there own internal demons to be able to sing that way.
