There is no point to these blogs. I just have to get it out of my head. Read if you like. Don't expect it to make sense though.

While we waited for the ergonomics-evaluation programme to load the CAD files earlier tonight I was subjected to some palmistry from the Indian guy I worked with. Apparently I'm pure of heart, non-manipulative, business oriented, will have two sources of income, will lead a long life, and is lucky in the way that if I do some of the work the rest will sort itself out.

I don't believe in palmistry for a second. A sceptic and an atheist, that's me.

This guy is nice and well meaning, but why in the world are people unable to spend time in the same room without having to fill it up with irrelevant talk? I like things to be either business or pleasure, not both at the same time. At work you talk about work. To relax and enjoy myself I go home and spend time alone. This is one of the bigger conflicts I have run into when doing project work. The people I work with like to have coffee and small talk along with their meetings and work sessions. That just annoys me since it takes up time that I'd rather spend away from the office.

I keep wondering how I'll deal with a real job when that time comes around... I really don't think that I'll like it.

Okay, so, ten out of ten for style, but minus several million for good thinking, okay?
