In a way I'm glad this site doesn't have delete options because I'm a compulsive revisionist and it's a good lesson in realizing how much of what I say I later try and get rid of or edit. I'm like one of those released FBI files with huge swathes of text blacked out, an editor so frantic that I'm left with only the most tentative grasp of what was actually said.

(Specifically, what was bothersome last post was that I used 'she' as a referential pronoun, because the animal was giving birth so I thought it'd make more sense. kind of realizing it doesn't matter, though, and was a dumb analogy anyway. That's been bothering me)
