In response to the forum thread "How many Triggers", where a therapist has asked someone to write down every trigger they can, I thought about it and realized something: our triggers are mostly words.
Hell, Nic was calling them "Trigger Words" before he even knew we existed! People said this or that and he would twitch like ######6 crazy. I remember someone said a massive trigger word in our 10th grade English class. Nic was scribbling all over the paper to draw attention away from that one word, because it was on a handout that the whole class received. But he ended up drawing a massive amount of attention to the one specific word, and when this guy Gerron said it, he ######6 had a seizure standing up then calmed down. Lasted 2 whole seconds, but, ###$, was that an attention grabber.
But just the phrase "How Many Triggers" leads me to believe that it would make a fantastic game show. Or a very entertaining SNL sketch. Think about it:
"Hello, and welcome to How Many Triggers, the show where we take people with severe mental illnesses and exploit them for our own gain. The number of triggers monitored by the end of our three rounds wins $50,000!"
... Holy $#%^, that's ######6 brilliant. And well make them traverse an obstacle course, of BANANAS HANGING FROM THE CEILING, BECAUSE DICKS. AND AS THEY ARE FORCED TO STUMBLE THROUGH THE MAZE OF BANANAS, SOMEONE SHOUTS THINGS LIKE "MONKEY RAPE" OR "DILDO HUNTER" OFFSTAGE. AND THE MORE THEY TWITCH, THE MORE CHANCES THEY HAVE OF WINNING!!!!!!!!
I am selling that $#%^ to the CW. If they are desperate enough to make Extreme Musical Chairs (which is a real show, called "Oh Sit!"), they will buy this show.
Jesus... Just think of the bonus round...
