Just a quick thing here: You know, its always the people who think the mentally ill are all crazy (literal) #####& who could snap at any second and ###$ up the post office with a gas powered machine gun they built themselves out of Lego's & superglue on top of a chainsaw engine and shrapnel they found near the recycling center, that tend to use the phrase "Well, everyone is a little bit crazy".
No. No, everyone is not a little bit crazy. Its like saying "Life is unfair to everyone, not just you". Don't those people get it? That by making everyone play by the same rules, life becomes fair to everyone? Its all about perspective, I guess... but those who think life is unfair to everyone is stupid, cause I just proved them wrong. Assholes.
Its the same concept with "Everyone is a little bit crazy". Doesn't that make everyone the same amount of "Sane"? If everyone has the same amount of crazy in them, aren't we all equals in terms of sanity?
They are the assholes who try to cover up their lazy asses with $#%^ like "Well, he started it" or "I didn't read the manual", or even the rarely used "My dog ate the damn thing". They're the ones who need to assign blame to everything but themselves, mostly over the tiniest things no one will remember or even care about, until they make it a ######6 big deal!
What I'm basically trying to say is ###$ these people. Alright? Just ###$ them. Nothing has come up recently to make me want to write this as some angry rant, I've just wanted to say this for a while. The main reason I'm writing this is so I am on record for whatever may come next: If you use the phrase "Everyone is a little bit crazy", you yourself want to be mentally ill, or just straight-up crazy.
No, seriously! Think about it: People LOOOOVE serial killers. People love the mentally ill that are truly insane. People love stereotypes. People love weird $#%^, basically, and most of them, momentarily at one point in their lives, dream about being Ted Bundy or Sarah Palin or even someone like us. Delusional ###$ who kill everything that loves us, from plants (me, sadly...) to entire Presidential Campaigns (you know who.) And when the idea that the mentally ill have an entire set of laws to make sure they are safe and secure, and their actions have less repercussions, they want that life.
And its hard not to see why. Some of the mentally ill get welfare checks and live a life of ease. One of the only 3 movies to get the Oscar "Grand Slam" was "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest", because people ######6 loved that film. They think that is what mental illness really is. And reality is ALWAYS different from what is shown on TV or in movies. We know what true mental illness has been like.
Thats why every time someone uses that damn phrase, I feel like slapping their ######6 faces until they vomit blood. Or, at least, correct them, using the phrase "Your an idiot, and ###$ you, you dumb $#%^" as much as verbally possible.
In the end, the idiots who think everyone is a little bit crazy don't understand what crazy means. As Michael Swaim once eloquently put it "Crazy is a relative term, to some people skydiving is crazy, to others its perfectly natural". Maybe it really is all about perspective. In which case, I win, undefeated, by a large margin throughout history, because as long as people think the definition of "Crazy" is "Mentally Deranged", and still think "Everyone is a little bit crazy" means "Everyone has a part of their brain that isn't wired right, and that part sometimes helps/hurts them" (or whatever they think it means), then we will still have people who think mental illness is a glamorous freight train hauling loads of money for individuals "lucky" enough to be mentally ill.
If they only knew how stupid that sounds, or at least saw it how we do. Maybe were alone on this. Who knows until someone at least says what they think.
