Cracked's World
Blessed are the cracked for they let in the light

A FB led social is being organised for a meet up of nurses and Drs from somewhere I used to work for 3 years. It would be a lot of fun to go and to see everyone, but here is the rub. Everyone will be high grade nurses or likely consultants by now except me who STILL is off sick and not looking like going back any time soon. I am worried they will secretly judge me or even worse feel sorry for me. So do I go and enjoy it but risk that or not. If I dont I will feel sad and like I am letting go of yet another part of me.
Hope you are all well.
Hugs

Maybe going would show them that you're still the same person, that despite being off sick, it hasn't changed who you are? It's up to you of course, just throwing it out there.
I hope whatever you decide, you end up feeling ok about it *hugs*

Thanks hon - I really appreciate it. Another reason not to go is because they are all smug marrieds but I think going and showing them I am still me is a good point. Thank you.

I think you should go along anyway to show that you're not afraid and that you're still the same person as before. It shouldn't matter if others judge you, just enjoy yourself if you can. Don't worry yourself, not all doctors can be perfect like you Hugs

Yes you should go, it makes NO difference what they think, you are you, they cannot take that from you, even if they judge! Dont let them intimidate you! You are awesome! **huggs you sweetly** When you show up, they rather than judge, they may admire you! they may say, "Ahh so, she did come! ell we are lucky to have her here and be in her presence! I know you can do this! **huggs you** You are good person, no judging from them can EVER change that!

I think you should go along too- even if you just put in an appearance. You might go along to put in an appearance and decide to stay there a little longer with them to catch up.
Go along and try to enjoy yourself for an evening!
