is doing my head in tho I end up feelingn guilty for her being mean to me. There some warped thinking going on me thinks. She is so invlaidating of me too because I am no longer her professional daughter but this mad person whilst the rest of the family are getting on with making everyone proud.

I am grateful for her but she does bug me and I am resorting to codeine and alcohol to sort the buggingness out.

Not too helpful really.

I'm sorry about your Mum, Cracked. My family feels that same thing with Nana. Everything we do is wrong in some way and she seems to think that she knows everything and that she has it harder than most. Still, I think she's been worse since Granddad's death.

just rest assured that your sister isn't in any better of a place if you mum takes possession of her successes. Not that it makes it better but you and your sister face the same issue even though it might not feel like it. Stand up for yourself and take back your successes and accomplishments then they will not be your mums to lose. be careful with your coping and stand proud for who you are, even the mad moments.
