Such a true statement. Where is the line between happiness and hypomania. Are bipolar people not allowed to be happy? It seems like doctor are quick to worry if you are just energetic and happy for a couple of days. It almost seems like bipolar people are not allowed to be happy.

So true. I've been happy (well a happier than I'm used to) for few days and now I'm a bit concerned if my mood will turn into hypomania.

before going to bed you plan all of these projects you are going to do, think you can conquer the world, are the nicest to everyone, even the ones who annoy you, then wake up the next day feeling like death

You lash out at loved ones and peers, then love them and end up apologizing within a few hours

.. when you listen to this song once:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3lWwBslWqg

and even though it's from Sting's I'm-rich-and-can-afford-an-exotic-singer-who's-way-better-than-me period, and its accompanying ridiculous I'm-still-relevant-so-shut-up video (the DJs with hoodies are particularly cringeworthy) and is generally lazy self-indulgence at its worst, the Arabic singer is so awesome that you decide you want to learn to sing his part in Arabic phonetically and listen to it five hundred times and get about halfway through before you get bored and forget about it.

Edit: if they ever manage to get me into a drag show again, I could really rock the outfit the chauffeuse is wearing. You can imagine how fun a drag competition is when you're hypo.

When you come up with awesome ideas for a book you could write but then you give up because you're so f***ed up you can't concentrate enough to write an entire book, and they'd censor it anyway.

When you're in your bed and you suddenly get up and sit in front of the piano because you just had an enlightening and divine inspiration to compose, but then you get bored and leave everything unfinished.

When sometimes listening to music is pointless because you have your own playlist constantly playing in your head.

I'm crazy, I know, but this stuff happens to me all the time.

...there's such a thing as feeling too good.
...your weight in a year can go up 30 pounds, and then come down another 20.
...one day you're a musical genius, the next you're not inspired enough to wash your hair.
You are unique, just like everybody else.
