Crashing from a hypo phase. For the past few days I've been sleeping all the time, irritable, and crying over stupid things. I can't wait to meet my new Psychiatrist in a week and get my meds adjusted.
Bipolar (ongoing diagnosis - getting a 2nd opinion)
General Anxiety Disorder
Lamictal 50 mg
Klonopin 0.5 mg (as needed)
Seroquel 50 mg

CJ,
I can imagine you needing sleep right now, with everything you've been through.

The last week or two has been pretty rocky. I've had some days of lying on the floor reminding myself why I decided not to do anything drastic, needing to phone the crisis team but not being able to bear anyone seeing how messy my flat has got, and sleeping most of the day; other days have had me buying a lot of stupid things and 'fixing' the kitchen plumbing with no knowledge or tools and being in a total frenzy. Today is a bit of both. It's not a lot of fun and I have 2 weeks until I can see my psychiatrist.

I'm feeling a tad manic at the moment. I don't think it will last. Then again I haven't been getting any sleep lately, so only time will tell.

Very down. I've been depressed for over a month. I just saw my psychiatrist a few days ago and he wants to "wait and see" for 3 more weeks.
I'm new to this diagnosis and don't know what to expect. I spent the previous 10 years with varying degrees of depression, and then back in March of this year had a sudden manic episode which led to psychosis and hospitalization. I came down slowly, but I feel like I've leveled off to where I was before: depressed.
I'm frustrated because I feel like the doctor doesn't take it very seriously.

Today I feel burned out and tired. I believe I was hypomanic over the weekend and it exhausted me.
