I can't stop eating.

I know to most people that sounds strange "I can't stop eating" but I cant.

I don't know if there was a first moment for me when it started. But I know in the last 5 years how it started...

After high school my activity level went down and the eating stayed the same, so naturally I started to gain weight. Then three years after graduated I looked in the mirror and thought you need to lose about 20 pounds, its time to go on a diet. I lost about 15 of it. The gained it back after about 6 months, which was when the yo yo dieting started. To make a long story short. In the last year it has turned into. "Ok, pig out this weekend and start the diet Monday." Well this has lead to "pigging out" everyday. I don't know how to stop. My family and friends have had no idea because I only eat like this when im alone. I have now gained 50 pounds, which may not sound like a lot to some but... im 5'1 so its a lot.

I think I have decided to go see a doctor and tell my mother.

It's that vicious cycle isn't it... ...and that crucifying irony whereby you try to lose weight but end up gaining it. What happens is that we starve ourselves too much and then binge. Iv'e been having eating disorders in various styles for a few years now.

A few years ago, I went to a workshop conducted by a kinestheologist titled "Stubborn Fat Loss Workshop."

Interestingly enough, out of about 30 women, I was the only male.

Here's the recipe for losing weight that is stubborn to go:

Eat five or six small meals a day
Eat a low-fat and low-sugar diet
Exercise and burn about 500 calories/day
NEVER skip a meal
Eat slowly, wait at least 20 min. between helpings

The reasons were given why all this works and it's based on the facts that our bodies are comprised of many cells, enzymes, chemicals, etc, that all work (or don't work) to store fat or burn fat depending on how we eat and exercise.

I'm sorry I can't really offer much as to why you're binge eating. Is it emotional? I know I eat when I am full of sorrow... or having a lack of passion for anything else in my life.
