Accepted to a study with 10 day hospital stay

They seem to be studying whether exposeure to a bacteria will give you immunity if you are exposed again. So I would go into the hospital for 10 days in march and then 10 more in June when they infect me again. I should not get as sick in the second exposure. I hope. But I told them how I got mumps and chicken pox twice. I just have the worst luck - always have.

I hope it works out that way. I caught staph a few years ago, and had issues shaking it once and for all - kept getting infected every few months for about two years after initial infection. But, staph is somewhat of a special case as far as that is concerned. I know i wouldn't have the confidence to go through a trial like that anymore. Best of luck. Don't forget to post updates

Can't you sell your sperm or a kidney or something? Neither one is comfortable but neither does either result in paralysis. Or death. And as bad as death is, paralysis would be worse.

Just buy a loto ticket and take a walk on your working, functional, helpful legs.

Looks like I won't be doing it after all. I am probably going to have to try a new job in a couple of weeks . So I won't have time for a 10 day hospital stay.
