My cats are afraid of the random chickens that come visiting from time to time. :)

When I first acquired 'Opie' (the heeler) he was afraid of everything, from the clicking of a pen :?: to interaction with any other dog. I worked with him ~ introducing him to other dogs, etc. and he's a lot better. Right now, it's only if I am feeling anxious or nervous about something that he starts panting and whines if he hears me talking.

Has anyone seen "My Cat from Hell" ? Jackson Galaxy has an interesting life story, his book is worth reading. While I personally like cats very much, I think it is much harder to generalize their behavioral traits and correct any problems that they develop.

Yes! I have watched that guy on the cat show.. I don't have a cat now but I did.

Do we all know that Cesar Milan tried to commit suicide not that long ago? Yes, even somebody as successful and famous as him. His wife left him and his favorite pit bull Daddy died.. sad. He recovered though. You can look up his story on the web.

Yeah, I hear something about it. It seems to me that he is a very sensible person.
And Daddy (papito) was a marvellous dog. Luckily, he has Junior now.
Another marvellous dog who learnt from Daddy.

@Sky, so the cat from the hell is not only a book. Is there a TV programme?

Yes, I think the name is "My Cat from Hell". It's on the Animal Planet channel. If you do a google search on My Cat from Hell you should see some info on it (not sure I can put the link here).

haha sorry but its kind of funny that his wife left him and his dog died and that's what drove him to attempt suicide.

I didn't know that though and it is sad when people feel that hopeless.

There have been a lot of famous people who committed suicide, right? First one that comes to mind is David Foster Wallace,a famous writer in the US from New England. Insanely talented, creative author (right inverse?) and hugely successful, suffered from depression and killed himself a few years ago at 46 yrs old. It's sad.
