Marxism is primarily a critique of capitalism, and points to capitalism as the source of social and personal problems and provides an alternative.

I say no way, and instituting communism or socialism alone will not solve our problems.

My idea includes a critique and advocates for the abolition of other aspects of modernity: urbanization, modern technology, industrialization/post-industrialization, the state, telecommunications, and other aspects.

Travelling to other villages will be permitted, and encouraged especially if aid is needed. However, if you are an outsider staying in another village will generally not be permitted. This norm is intended to prevent some villages from getting too big (requiring higher levels of governments, and law), and other villages from getting too small which creates problems also.

Each village will have a library, where historical texts will be archived which include all of human history (in summary form) up until now. the intent of this is to prevent history from repeating itself. if people know why doing x, will lead to y, which is ultimately undesirable, then they will not do it. so while generation after generation will produce its share of curious and innovative people, being learned in history will result in the energies of those people being directed into improving and perfecting the village, rather than trying to destroy it. And inter-village warfare will be deterred by the knowledge that such warfare is fruitless and people are better off getting along. People will be enlightened, and they will seek to preserve (but perfect and improve) and become accustomed to a pleasant and sustainable level of happiness in these villages, knowing that what seems like a good idea on the face of it, will ultimately bring them unhappiness.

This is the best use of current knowledge in my opinion.
