I'm not American, jomp. I went out with my kids on Sunday and did all that stuff. Our fireworks were lame bc the city probably spent their entire budget on the free concert. We saw a good local band. They weren't on par with--say Our Lady Peace, but they were a fairly popular band. They put on a good show. 10 minutes later, 10 000 people were looking at the sky going "WTF? That's it?" In the UK we're crap at stuff like that. We seem to have a talent for moaning and f*cking up anything that we could potentially do well and making everything out to be negative.

Def:- A person of British origin who will consistently complain about any situation that they may face.
JOMP is obviously suffering from a bad case of it, no doubt due to the rain, or lack of it, the traffic, the queen, the british, bloody foreigners. etc, etc.
