Is there a such thing as a partial sociopath?

Postby footloose1237 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 9:38 pm

For example, someone who has a weak sense of guilt or sympathy or only meets some of the requirements meant for sociopathy. Is partial sociopathy a different disorder, or is there a such thing as mild sociopathy?

In my opinion there's no such thing as 'sociopathy' or 'psychopathy', only people with a grudge AND Jeffrey Dhamer.
'I know it's not fair, but, even tho our parents may have ###$ us up, it is our responsibility, (once we are able to read) to read the adequate books in order to fix ourselves, and not only that, but to learn to happily live without their validation. There's nothing to forgive, not to our parents, nor to anybody.

Yes there is, most are in the jail. The average career criminal scores 23 out 0f 40 on the psychopathy checklist according to those who study it.

When an infant is born, and during it's process of growing, it learns 'sympathy' through their parents. Since there is no fact to say that you are born with the intent of knowing what sympathy is, it would be logical to assume that the child literally learns feelings, and sympathy through their parents, and environment. So, if you are taught the very feelings that you today know how to identify with, you either have them, or you don't. I do not believe there is such thing as a 'weak' form of sympathy. To qualify for such diagnoses is to have key symptoms, not necessarily all of them. Symptoms for a disorder such as psychopathy have one key characteristic such as no guilt. Another key characteristic is a sense of superiority in having a disregard for others. These alone can qualify someone to have such a disorder. The rest of the symptoms, we can say such as entitlement, poor sex life etc. can be obsolete because those specific symptoms aren't as dominant in referring to psychopathy as the lack of guilt, and superiority are. The obsolete symptoms can be obsolete, because other personality disorders accommodate that as well. So, we can agree that if someone who is psychopathic, doesn't mean they're serial killers, but it just means that because of the lack of guilt, and superiority alone can be enough to say it is qualified to diagnose. Anything less then that, is probably Antisocial, and anything less than that, can be from Intermittent Explosive Disorder, or anger etc. So if you are psychopathic, there is no such thing as a mild psychopathy. Unless however! a psychopath deems himself worthless of this world and retreats in becoming a monk, manipulating people into joining him, if they don't comply they end in death...then sure it's a "mild" form of it :)
Trust all the things I tell you are true, dress up in your best so I can be proud of you, and never believe I won't turn on you, and never believe I do this for you. You're leading me on again and I find it, yeah I like it, and I'm reeling in awe for sure, now I know it was given to me.
