Yes probably. But i read somewhere psychopathy is a sickness in your "soul" (maybe not the right translation, but "psycho" means something like "soul" and "pathos", is sickness. In other words sickness of the mind or soul). I read also that it can be seen as total weakness of the "will". The will (if that is the correct word) to do good.
I think if that part misses, the only part of the person that is left is the bad part.
I think every human who has a "will" to generate long term satisfaction for themselves, will feel good from it and thus will not become totally destructive for themselves and others. (and controls their bad part)
A psychopath only satisfies his or her short term impulses without feeling the consequences. (so no control of the bad part, no "will")
It's not that he or she want to be a psychopath, or is bad from birth.
It's just that the bad part dominates, because it's the only thing that works to satisfy their impulses. Because of the weakness of the "will" (the part that would control the bad part of a person).
In other words, a total lack of self-control. And conscience.
How i look at it.
