Did you change significantly over the years or are you still the same just aged?

Did you ever saw someone who changed in personality appeaance etc. over time?

My perspective has changed does that count?

I have gotten more and more jaded, pessimistic about the human race, etc. So I'm less inclined to try to contribute to the greater good. I've gotten more selfish or less in denial of my own selfishness and lost motivation to improve.

People don't change, environments and conditions do.

I've always been aware of the core and it's appeared well-defined, hardy and secure. But only recently, this entity has become more united and intact. As I move forward, the perspective changes. At the most.

I know what you're saying... If the environment and condition changes are strong enough people are forced to bring out other personality traits.

I don't feel the need to dig into semantics. But you got a point.

But in this context new personality traits sound like a rather haphazard cover-up, perhaps relied on in the absence of anything more solid.

Yeah, when I was a teenager I was constantly violent, lying, ect. Without any regard for acting or such, never played the underdog to get control, it was a car without a steering wheel. Now I've learnt that it's much more beneficial to be friendly upon first meeting people. Also I'm alot friendlier in general, so I appear more trustworthy. However it might be caused by selling drugs, for those of you that have sold drugs you might also have gotten that ''salesman'' attitude.

I have become much more socially adept over time. It was not something I could do when I was younger.

I think I stopped changing at the age of 18 because I've been 18 now for 26 years.

People who have known me all my life and/or for quite some time now tell me I never change. My (maladaptive - according to society and those who know me) behavior has been very consistent.

Did you ever saw someone who changed in personality appeaance etc. over time?

Sure, I've seen people grow and change. They change with their life experiences. For example: they now have a family and are less selfish, more considerate of others etc.

Sure. Because retards lack the ability to reflect on themselves.

You think I'm a retard. That's amusing.
