i think martial arts do the opposite.

they teach discipline, etc, but i think they also give people an excuse to hurt someone lol

anyway, i think you're more likely to find OCPD in karate than ASPD. Aspd would walk out first day after all the rules and pointless 'warmup' exercises before they can actually hit someone lol

MadJoe, I went by the mission the other day, and one kids entire face was burnt to a crisp. Didn't look as if a fire got him.


Money causes violence. Women cause violence. Egos cause violence. Martial arts just get people past the involuntary manslaughter stage.

I'd tell you what that means, but I got this smart ass voice in my head that needs everything spelt out and I'd rather he keeps up with the "dumbest mutherfuker" routine.

I think it's just the opposite; violence causes martial arts. Not literally, of course, but in this day and age people are desperate for a way to defend themselves. Yes, there is the discipline, inner peace, path to enlightenment, or whatever other existential mumbo jumbo they preach. But in the end, people just want to feel safe and being able to defend yourself is one brick in that wall of safety.
