Ok here goes my favourite.

Rulling class conspire between them to keep the wages low. This is insured by pseudo moralistic values of capitalism and work ethics. But when they do make business and hire employess the capitalist rule of supply and demand, gives place to price(wage) fixing. The cartel of salary is ensured by pseudo principles like, fair(read low) wages. To sum up, supply and demand when it suits them, price fixing when it not suits them.

EDIT:
Ok this is not conspiracy theory it is true. Employers are always complaining about the lack of professionals, still salaries dont rise.
