Relationship/Depression Question

A few months ago, I met a wonderful, beautiful woman, the younger sister of one of my friends (she's twenty, I'm twenty-six). We hit it off pretty quickly and soon were dating and staying at each other's houses and planning trips to take. She had made a New Year's Resolution, of "no guys in 2005", but it didn't last through the end of January, the month we met.
With her, you would have no idea ...

Delusion Disorder

Good Morning!
We need advise please, my cousin has been diagnosed with delusion disorder 1 year ago. We can't seem to find a doctor to help us and we feel she needs to be admitted somewhere for care. She continues to get worse day by day and she is only 26 years old. She obviously doesn't feel she has a problem and doesn't take the medication correctly. Any advise or referrals would be very helpful ...

Taking too long, hard to hold out for this.

I've been seeing a therapist for about two months now, and she's suggested I obtain a psychiatric evaluation (she's just "not comfortable" taking to "certain people" without knowing their mental issues) and she gave my parents a couple of names of psychiatrists, promising they'd evaluate me and then choose the best course of action for my prediagonosed(by her) depression.

I've been suffering from this depression for six months now. There are constant thoughts of suicide ...

Living hell, and maybe finding an answer

First off, an advisory for those who don't like reading long posts: this will be one of them. I'm here because I'm really really tired of searching. For the last 10 years I've been living a progressively worse and worse version of hell. It would seem that bipolar might explain it. This is why I am posting on this forum.

Ten years ago: I’m 18, I go see my family doctor and tell him I ...

I don't know who I am

I don't know who I am. I can't talk to people sometimes because I just don't know how to act, sometimes it gets so bad I don't know how to act like myself around my best friend or worse my parents and brothers, who i am very close to. It gets me depressed sometimes.
I haven't been myself for the past three years, first one was shyness, second one low self-esteem and i hated everyone, ...

My mom needs mental help

My mom has a mental disorder, she is on disability (Social Security) right now. She refuses to see a doctor for her condition because she thinks she isn't crazy, and the last few days she has gotten worse. She sings some songs which make no sense and dances outside which is embarassing as the neighbors can see this. But, they probably already know she isn't right in the head. She screams and has mood swings. ...

Compulsive Lying?

The man I'm seeing lies to others, apparently for his own entertainment. His stories are all plausible but can some times be a little graphic and often involve his health.

For example, this weekend alone he's told me he was having surgery soon, was once shot by a girlfriend, and has chronic back pain. The only reason I know he's lying is that he tells me so after he gauges my reaction to his lies. ...

can you help--with corrections

my previous post had many typos...i am sorry. i was rushing and upset. here it is again.
My boyfriend of 20 years, who is in his 40s, first started to experience mental problems around his 40th birthday. Many things happened all at once: he went of a high-protein (severe--no carbs at all for a month) diet, takes self-treating a yeast infection with high oral dosages of lamasil (purchased in Mexico), got involved in a major ...
